The out-of-hours service is provided by Western Urgent Care when the practice is closed (i.e. Sat/Sun/Bank Holidays and between the hours of 18:00 – 08:30). 

This service is based at Altnagelvin Hospital and can be contacted by ringing 028 71 865195.  This is not a walk-in service and patients must telephone this number to access this service. 

Remember this is an emergency service and must only be used for that reason. Please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
